  We really enjoyed our stay there. The location worked very well for trips into Yosemite and the surrounding areas. the home was well equiped and everything worked fine. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a washer and dryer to use, The only things we would change is the carpet is old and the master bedroom had two full size mattresses in stead of one queen.Carol was fantastic through the entire rental process. Groveland is a quaint town. We will tell all our friends and recommend Pine Moutain Custom Rentals.

  My wife and 2 children spent an awesome weekend while looking for a house to buy at PML. We were very happy with the location and look of the Cozy Cabin. The name perfectly describes the property, in a good way. The rooms and amenities were very comfortable, it is not a luxurious sprawling house, but if you want a real woodsy cabin getaway this is the place. The giant tree sticking through the front deck is beautiful.
  We had a few things that we would have changed, we got there around 9:00 PM on Friday after going to our favorite pizza place 2 Guys Pizza, it was very dark when we pulled up and when I went to unload the car the large flood light did not work. We were going to make burgers on the nice BBQ outside the next night, unfortunately there was not a grill scrapper or spatula anywhere, we had to resort to fish sticks in the oven and had to cook them in a glass dish because there was not sheet pan either. Lastly we could not find a pot holder to take out our food, thankfully my wife brought a towel to use. Small speed bumps in a great weekend and I would definately recommend it and already have to my family and co workers.

  The rental is somewhat tired and could use refreshing. It could use more pots & pans plus dishes & cups etc.The toilet seat was broken and some light fixtures lacked bulbs. The stove had a faulty burner & the fan switch should be relocated for convenience. The bathroom receptle needs replacing. The kitchen table was dirty. We only had a few sheets of paper towels on the roll. No automatic dishsoap provided.

  We have just returned from PML, where we spent the entire week swimming, hiking, doing barbecues, abd just having a great time. The cabin is really cute, it is tucked underneath pine trees, so it is never hot in the cabin, and we could park our car in the shade, which is always a nice option. The cabin feels really homey and is perfect for a small family of 3-4 people. PML is a community designated for family vacations, so you won't find any entertainment here after sunset,may be just night guests - as raccoons on your deck:)There is a good grocery store in Groveland (5-10 minute drive from the cabin), where you can buy food, if you haven't brought your own. PML is one hour drive from Yosemite Valley and Hetch Hetchy reservoir, which is absolutely gorgeous and looks like a scene from the Lord of the Rings movie! I would absolutely recommend PML for a family getaway.

  Overall we were very pleased to have Carol Help us on short notice. She also helped us try to find a Playpen for baby - In fact everyone in Groveland was trying very hard to help us! The guesthouse was great. The only thing I might change would be better markers on the thermostats [got too hot] and perhaps new undertrays on the very nice stove. The screen door needs an update also. We definitly recommend staying in Groveland area and Using PM Custom Rentals. Thank you Carol.
  Ps. Too bad my window cleaning company isn't in Groveland.
  Oh- I forgot - the tv control needs batteries.

  We stayed a week and had a great time visiting the Yosemite area. The rerig. had broken shelves and drawers, the cupboards were weird and the table and chairs in the dining room were in bad shape. The TV is ancient and tiny and the king sized bed is no more that two twins put together. I was charged for a broken chair that was obviously broken before I got there but I would still recommend the company and this property to a smaller group than what I had. There were just too many of us for this small of a house. The managers were very nice and accomadating and when we had a problem with the swamp cooler they fixed it in a snap. If I return and vacation there I will rent from them again!!

    Thank you for your comments Daniel, but you were not charged for that chair. Chair has been repaired, carpets have been cleaned, and towel rack in the bathroom has been remounted.

  I rented this house for the second time. Last summer I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the property. This summer I noticed that the its condition noticeably declined - the carpet is stained, some little things are broken here and there (such as towel hanger or plastic trays in the fridge. But over all this property condition is still above the average.

  A/C works in fan mode only.
  BBQ is barely usable. The TV set is from the previous millennium, but we didn't use it so we didn't care. A primitive DVD player is provided.
  The deck faces the street. The screen door leading to the deck is not usable.
  The corners of kitchen cabinet doors that are often touched by wet hands are sticky with filth and need thorough cleaning.
  Bedrooms and the bathroom were fine.

  Our stay at the Cute Cabin was very pleasant. The vacation rental management was very kind and helpful. One problem - we arraived after 5 pm. and could not get our key from the locker box. Ask for the emergency phone if you plan to come after hours! Those locks on the locker boxes are tricky!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the "cute cabin". We would definitely recommend the cabin to our friends and family.
  
  It would be nice to have some coffee in stock. Also it would be great if the recommended path to the cabin did not have ant access gates that needed proximity cards. This caused some confusion.
